
Eliza Kate Coupe, born April 6, 1981 in America, is an American actor and comedian. She is well-known for her performances as Jane Kerkovich Williams in ABC's comedy series Happy Endings, Denise Mahoney and Hannah Wyland on Quantico. In 2022, she was a character in Fox's comedy Pivoting. She was an actor in the Netflix series Murderville episode-Who killed Santa. Coupe studied improvisational comedy at The Groundlings as well as ImprovOlympic. She toured France in 2003, playing the soldier in an all-female King Lear version. Her one-woman show, The Patriots, premiered in New York's Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre on November 5 on the 5th of November in 2005. The show won her the Breakout Performer Award from HBO's U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado in March 2006. From December 2007 to June 2013 Coupe was married to Randall Whittinghill, an actor teacher and puppeteer. She announced her engagement on Instagram on the 27th of November 2014. While traveling in New Zealand, they were married on December 24, 2014. In 2018, they divorced. Between April 2011 until May 2013, Coupe was an actor on ABC's ensemble comedy series Happy Endings, along with Zachary Knighton (Adam Pally), Damon Wayans Jr., Casey Wilson, and Zachary Knighton. Despite receiving critical acclaim as well as a cult following The show was cut by ABC after it concluded its third season on May 3rd 2013. Happy Endings was cancelled. She was a regular role on House of Lies's third season and she also starred alongside Jay Harrington in Benched, an American comedy on the USA Network that premiered on October 28, 2014. Later, she starred as Hannah Wyland, the FBI agent in the ABC series Quantico on ABC.
