Deepika Padukone
Deepika Padukone (pronounced [di:pIka p@dUko:ne (pronounced [pa:dUkoborn on January 5, 1986) is an Indian actress, who is primarily in Hindi film productions. 3 Filmfare Awards have been given to her, making one of the country's most popular and well-paid actors. Time magazine ranked her as one of 100 people who are influential around the globe in 2018. Also, she received the TIME100 Impact Award for 2022. Padukone was a daughter of tennis champ Prakash Padukone. Padukone was born and raised in Bangalore. At the age of 13 she played in badminton championships at the national level. In the end, she quit this sport for a career as a fashion designer. Then, she was being offered roles in films. Her debut acting job was playing Aishwarya the Kannada title character. Padukone later played the dual part of Shah Rukh Khan opposite her in Om Shanti Om (2007) the debut Bollywood release. This film won Padukone the Filmfare Award Best Female Debut. Padukone was highly praised for her role as the main character in Love Aaj Kal, but she suffered a brief setback.
