Lucy-Liu
Lucy Liu, an American voice actress producer director and singer is also an outstanding actress. She's a beautiful, skilled actress that has inspired numerous Asian actors to achieve success in Hollywood. Following a string of early appearances on popular TV shows, she gained fame after joining the team of the legal comedy series Ally McBeal where she played the villainous Ling Woo. Following her fame, she got important part on the shows Shanghai Noon (1998) and Charlie's Angels (2000). She gave a stellar performance in the role of Japanese gangster O-Ren Ishii (Quentin Tarantino) in Kill Bill Volume 1 by Quentin Tarantino. In the meantime, her roles as an actress in the flops that were box-office hits like Rise: Blood Hunter were as well-known. Then, she was able to voice prominent characters in animated films like Kung Fu Panda. Small screen roles such as Mia Mason in Cashmere Mafia failed to produce results. Southland - a critically acclaimed crime-drama - established her as a leading actress. Liu chooses her roles with care so that she doesn't become a typecast character in this competitive industry. Although she is proud of her heritage however, she is not letting that limit her creativity.
