April Ross
April Ross has won more than one Olympic medal. She is one of a few female beach volleyball players who achieve this feat. In Tokyo over the next several days, she'll try to claim her third Olympic medal along with first-time Olympian Alix Klineman. Ross wants to achieve more than her first Olympic medal. As she turns 39, it could be her final chance to take home an Olympic gold medal. But she's convinced that top honours are at hand. Ross said on NBC Boston that he believes that if the team plays their top, or even a great game, they will be able to win gold. In addition, I'm hoping to have some chances. Ross had her birth on August 22nd, 1982 on the outskirts of Costa Mesa California. She was raised there by her parents. Ross was a competitive athlete in a variety of sports while attending Newport Harbor High School. In addition to indoor volleyball, she played basketball and jogged track as professional athletes. But she clearly was a distinguished athlete in her other sport. According to her biography, she was a middle blocker and an outside hitter on the volleyball court during her high-school career. In recognition of her work, she was honored as in 1999 as the Gatorade Circle of Champions National Player of the Year. Also, she won the 2000 Orange County Athlete of the Award for volleyball. Ross Klineman joined her collaboration in the year 2017, however, Ross was an established volleyball player for years before. She was a winner of multiple major tournaments with two partners. One of which was the volleyball legend. Between 2007 until 2013, she was a team along with Jennifer Kessy who more recently played the role of Klineman's coach. Together together with Kessy Ross, the duo won a World Title in 2009 when she competed in the international circuit. In 2012, the pair were awarded silver medals at the London Olympics. They were defeated for the gold by the storied team of Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh (Jennings). Ross Jennings was Walsh Jennings partner in fate as Maytreanor resigned. In 2016, the pair received bronze medals in the Rio Olympics for beach volleyball. Ross played for the USC Trojans in the college years following her graduation from high school. Ross's Trojans experience was outstanding. While a freshman in the year 2000 she fought her way to Pac-10 as well as NCAA All-American Freshman of Year recognition and was an All-American. She also helped her Trojans reach the Final Four. The second season of her career, she experienced a terrible personal loss, yet was successful in being named an All-American. The last two years in the program she led the Trojans to the top of the mountain by winning two multiple national championships. Individually Ross established her status as a legend when she won the Honda Sports Award for 2003-04. This award was given to the most outstanding female player from the United States. Ross was a major in International Relations at USC. Unfortunately Ross mother Margie was not able to witness her daughter rise to the highest levels of beach volleyball superstardom. Ross's mother Margie died in the year 2001. Ross was still in the midst of being a USC sophomore. The cancer was diagnosed as breast. She is deeply in love with her late parent. and Margie remains a source of encouragement for her at the beach as well as in everyday the world of.
